This section provides a data gathering form and flowchart for care home staff to help them to identify symptoms of potential Lower Urinary Tract Infection and take appropriate action. The guidance has been developed by Healthcare Improvement Scotland and the Scottish Antimicrobial Prescribing Group. This guidance is intended to be used by all care home staff – including nursing and non-nursing staff.
